Berlin Olympic Stadion

Yesterday we visited the Olympic Stadion from the Olympic Games 1936.

 The building is still very impressing and powerful. With the Maifeld next to it, where Hitler held his speeches. But it also makes me shiver. I do hope the democracy gets strong again. The many nationalist leader nowadays are so dangerous.

Mick is still happy that Jesse Owens and other athlets from the world did win so many medals.  Hitler was very angry, that an afroamerican athlet was so much better than the germans. He did not shake his hands.

Berlin and two cats

Over Christmas and New Year we are now in Berlin caring for two tender and lovely cats.

I start to do much more experiments with the camera I bought last year.
New Years Eve is in Germany the only night, fireworks are allowed everywhere.
And the Germans get crazy with that.
They spent millions of Euros and the smoke of the firework has the emission of the cars in two month- so they told in radio.

It is very loud and stinky, but on the other side it is beautiful too.

long time ago

oh je
a lost code and time went by.
Now I have my code again and can create new blogs and tell what had happened in all the years.

• Mick is still the man at my side

• I finished work and retired 3 years ago and that time is wonderful. Now I realised that I slept so badly because of school.
•  I can sleep as long as I want every morning and it does change from day to day. One day it is 6 o`clock one day 10 o`clock.

We have a new profession No, its not interesting for taxes, because we do not earn money.   
We are housecarers. We travel to places where people are living and cannot care for their cats because they are working or on holiday.

We are there at amazing places, meet wonderful people and have lots of fun.

We were in September/Oktober 2018 over 3 weeks near the Loire Valley in France. All the castles are amazing. But sometimes it are the small things that I love. The Castle Riveau had a beech forest with hammocks, laying there, looking in the green treetops was wonderful.

     The castle Chenonceau, the ladies castle had in all the rooms wonderful fresh flowers

     And Villandry with its Rennaissance garden was a place I did not want to leave.
From now on I will tell again what is happening in my life. Tomorrow I wikk drive to a felt workshop. I will show you the new hats.
